Halloween with Sinfonia, Princeton University Sinfonia
Forum, Lewis Arts Complex, Princeton Univeristy 122 Alexander ST, Princeton, NJ 08540 Free and Unticketed; open to the public A fun program of colorful, dramatic music to launch us into Halloween. The afternoon will include Rossini's spirited William Tell Overture, music from the film score to The Lord of the Rings, Grieg's troll-inspired "In the Hall of the Mountain King," and a rarely heard and hauntingly beautiful late work for piano and orchestra by Robert Schumann, featuring faculty pianist Francine Kay. Costumes welcome!
