Kusama-Infinity - Outdoor Art Film, Woolsey Park
Bring your folding chair or a blanket to view artful movies under the stars on a gigantic screen at Woolsey Park on Friday, July 30 at 8:30pm. Kusama-Infinity explores artist Yayoi Kusama’s journey from a conservative upbringing in Japan, to her brush with fame in America during the 1960’s, and the international fame she finally achieved within the artworld. With her hallucinations of polka dots, Kusama spent the last 30 years leaving in a mental institution in Japan. Run time: 1 hour 20 minutes Rated: PG-13 Popcorn & beverages will be available for sale. Picnicking is welcome (with take-home trash removal). Adults $10 / Kids $5
