Battle of Monmouth Annual Reenactment

Reenactment marking the 247th anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth, the largest annual living history event in the state! Two days of history come alive! Revolutionary War campsites, sutlers, food vendors, historical programs for all ages, and of course, reenactments of the battle. Age: all ages. $12 suggested donation per vehicle. George Washington: In High Spirits, Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Site

Join George Washington in the historic Dutch barn of Flounder Brewing Co. for a discussion of the spirits of his age. Topics will include Gen. Washington’s foray into the commercial distilling of whiskey and corn liquor and experiments with viniculture and home brewing. Hear about Gen. Washington’s favorite wines, champagnes, and other beverages and enjoy anecdotes about some of his favorite watering holes in New Jersey and Philadelphia, New York, Virginia and other points in between. Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm. Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12pm-5pm.

No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Groups over 8 require reservation.

Community Open House, Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad

The Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad will be holding its annual Community Open House on Sunday, June 29th from 1- 3pm in the bays at 2 Mount Lucas Road Princeton, NJ. This is a free family friendly event. Meet EMTs and Rescue Technicians. Take a tour of our Ambulances and Rescue Truck. Check out our life-saving equipment.  Learn about being a first responder.  Enjoy ice-cream from the bent spoon. Get fun swag!

300th Birthday Party for General Rochambeau

The Trent House Association will hold a garden party on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 4 to 6 pm in honor of the 300th birthday of General Rochambeau who led the French army in aid of the American Revolution. The party will be held rain or shine at the William Trent House Museum, 15 Market Street, Trenton, New Jersey and feature French wine, pastries, and savory hors d'oveours. French songs of Rochambeau's era will be performed by Mostly Motets in the historic house. Registration is required at https://tinyurl.com/Rochambeau300. Firefly Festival – Terhune's

Fireflies are an “electrifying” part of summer. To celebrate this exciting FREE event, enjoy an evening of nature, music, good food and outdoor fun.

Celebrate fireflies by making your own wings and antenna. There will be a $7.00 charge for the crafts activities. Enjoy live music while you wait for the fireflies to come out. Pony rides will be available all evening. Our special barnyard fun play area will be open for evening play. Lolly Hopwood will be performing for all our young firefly friends. Bring your wings and dancing shoes. 

Hungry? You’ll find lots of goodies available at Pam’s Firefly Tent: grilled chicken, hot dogs, pie, apple cider, donuts, cookies, apples and more! Adults enjoy Terhune's own wine to sample or by the glass in the wine orchard. Come and enjoy a flickering, flying, fun evening on the farm.
