Community Learn to Row, Caspersen Rowing Center

Saturday June 14, 2025
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

This year Community Learn to Row Event is taking place on Saturday, June 14 at the Caspersen Rowing Center. There is a waiver that you'll need to sign and bring with you. Please be sure to write your name legibly as well as sign it. You can list PNRA/Mercer as the Organization (or leave blank). There will be extra waivers at the venue in case you forget. Please be sure a parent/guardian signs for all participants under the age of 18.

There will be three sessions throughout the morning between 8am and 1:30pm. Please Register Here to choose a time slot that works for you. Please come dressed in athletic wear and bring sneakers or closed toe shoes. Shorts and a t-shirt are fine, just nothing too baggy as loose clothing can get stuck in the wheels of the seat that you sit on. I recommend a hat or visor, sunglasses and sunscreen! You can bring a water bottle if you have one (we have a water fill station at the boathouse), but you cannot bring a metal or hard plastic water bottle in the boat with you as it can damage the inside of the boat. TIP: you can put a sock on a hard water bottle and bring that with you. The address is 1 South Post Rd in Princeton Junction. Please follow the signs for the Caspersen Rowing Center. Note that the speed limit is 25 mph on the access road. The road is fairly narrow and there are pedestrians and bikers who regularly use the road. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY AND SAFELY - especially around the corner as you enter the parking area.

McConkey’s Market, Washington Crossing Historic Park

Saturday June 14, 2025
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

WASHINGTON CROSSING, Pa. – McConkey’s Market returns for its 10th spring season on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA).

Held only twice a year, the market features nearly 100 vendors selling an eclectic mix of artisan crafts, up-cycled items, vintage goods, handmade jewelry, original art and photography, pottery, reclaimed furniture, and collectibles. The market also includes live music and several food vendors.

McConkey’s Market takes its name from the park’s historic McConkey Ferry Inn. The building represents a typical country inn or tavern of the Revolutionary era. Tradition has it that George Washington ate at the inn prior to his crossing of the Delaware River.

Admission to the market is free and it will be held rain or shine. For more information, visit McConkeysMarket.com or follow the market on Facebook or Instagram.
