Monthly Meeting, The Women's College Club of the Princeton

On December 16, 2024 The Women's College Club of the Princeton will meet 1 to 3 PM at Morven Museum Stockton Educational Center 55 Stockton, Princeton NJ. This month's topic is Princeton's role in J. Robert Oppenheimer's life and the development of the atomic bomb . This talk showcases the places where Oppenheimer lived and worked in Princeton, shares stories about the local academics recruited to work on the Manhattan Project, and tells interesting details of his life.

The program will be presented by Eve Mandel from the Historical Society of Princeton, where she is Director of Programs and Outreach. Eve will be joined by Heather Jahrling, who is a Visitor Services Associate at the Historical Society and a third year PhD student at Princeton University. Free and open to the public. Pet Photos with Santa, MarketFair

We're setting aside special times to capture heart-warming family photos with Santa and the furriest (or not so furriest) members of your family!

Each pet will receive a treat and complimentary bandana (while supplies last). Pets must be leashed or in a carrier. Reservations are highly recommended and be made by clicking HERE. Walk-ins are welcome. Wait times cannot be guaranteed.

Please enter through the main entrance located by the clock tower and accessible on the Route 1 side.

Roots and Radiance - Exhibit at Princeton Makes

Princeton Makes, the vibrant artist cooperative located in the Princeton Shopping Center, is excited to announce the opening of its upcoming basement exhibition, Roots and Radiance. This thought-provoking exhibit will run through January 26, 2025, celebrating themes of growth, grounding, and the energy of new beginnings.

An Opening Reception will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, offering an opportunity for art enthusiasts and community members to meet the artists, explore their work, and engage in meaningful conversations about the inspirations behind the exhibit. Light refreshments will be provided.
