Mercer County 4-H Fair, Howell Living History Farm

Join us at Howell Living History Farm for a truly enjoyable day! The fair includes animal shows and exhibits, homemade ice cream, hay rides, pony rides, music, magic shows, and farm tours. Check out displays by the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County, Mercer County Wildlife Center Friends, Mid-State Beekeepers Association, and many more! Free admission and parking for all!

Please bring a non-perishable food donation for Rutgers Against Hunger.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm.

Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12pm-5pm. No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Groups over 8 require reservation.

"Table Talk Histories," Washington Crossing Park

Join us on July 28th for "Table Talk Histories," including a 3 pm presentation on impending capital improvements for Washington Crossing State Park including its new Museum and Visitor Center, and other capital improvements in preparation for America's 250th Anniversary celebration.

Local historians and reenactors — many in Revolutionary War era period clothing — will staff a series of tables, each featuring images and objects that highlight a different topic.

Stan Saperstein, Hopewell Township's official Town Crier will invite participants and reenactors to join a 3pm presentation on these capital improvements. Refreshments will be provided, and reenactors in Revolutionary War period clothing will be on hand.
