3rd Annual Find Waldo Local Scavenger Hunt, jaZams

The master of hide-and-seek returns to Princeton Small Businesses for the 3rd annual "Find Waldo Local", sponsored by jaZams and Candlewick Press.

Kids and adults can both join in on the downtown fun. And it's free to play!

Where? Visit 24 shops in Princeton, which include the library, shops you love already and shops for you to discover.

When? June 30th – July 31st, 2024

How? Visit jaZams on June 30th during our kickoff event or any day in July to start a stamp card. Collect a stamp at each of the 24 businesses and return your card to jaZams by 6pm on July 31st for prizes and to be entered into a raffle for several Grand Prizes! There is a prize for 10+ stamps too, so you can do a mini-search for a mini-prize! This fun game is also a great way to support our local independently owned small businesses in our town! Build community, make friends with fellow Waldo searchers, and make memories with loved ones!

Bonus! Share photos of your search using #FindWaldoLocal and tag @jazamstoys and you'll be entered to win weekly gift cards! Winners will be pulled each Sunday in July.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm.

Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12pm-5pm. No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Groups over 8 require reservation.

Sundaes on the Veranda, Trenton City Museum

Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie will serve up its annual Sundaes on the Veranda Sunday, June 30, from 1 to 4 p.m. In addition to all the classic toppings at this family-friendly ice cream social, attendees can choose a unique, artisan-made ceramic bowl to take home. New this year, sundaes are free for children aged 6 and under who are accompanied by a paid adult; $20 for a sundae in a handmade ceramic bow; $10 for a sundae in a disposable bowl. Admission can be reserved in advance at or paid at the door.

While at Sundaes on the Veranda, attendees who step inside the museum will be dazzled by the last day of the exhibition Space & Clutter, curated by Janis Purcell, and featuring the detailed works of Jackie Lima, David Z. Orban, and Paul Smith. Located in Trenton's lush, historic Cadwalader Park, Trenton City Museum is accessible by car from Parkside Ave. and has ample parking alongside the museum. It is open Fridays and Saturdays, Noon to 4 p.m., and Sundays, 1 to 4 p.m. While there is no admission charge, donations in support of the museum's mission and programs are appreciated. Proving too high spirited for religious life, Maria is dispatched to serve as governess for the seven children of a widowed naval officer, Captain Von Trapp. Her growing rapport with the youngsters, coupled with her generous spirit, clash with the Captain, with his fiancée, and finally with the Nazis who seize power of her Austrian homeland. This Rodgers & Hammerstein classic is one of the world’s most beloved musicals.

Firefly Festival, Terhune Orchards

Fireflies are an “electrifying” part of summer. To celebrate this exciting FREE event, enjoy an evening of nature, music, good food and outdoor fun. Celebrate fireflies by making your own wings and antenna. There will be a $7.00 charge for the crafts activities. Enjoy live music while you wait for the fireflies to come out. Pony rides will be available all evening. Our special barnyard fun play area will be open for evening play.

Hungry? You’ll find lots of goodies available at Pam’s Firefly Tent: grilled chicken, hot dogs, pie, apple cider, donuts, cookies, apples and more!
