Land Stewardship Volunteer Event, Friends of Princeton Open Space

Two Sessions – 9-11am, 12-2pm.

Join the Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS) for a volunteer stewardship session on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024! Volunteers will work under the guidance of the FOPOS stewardship staff to perform riparian and forest restoration, invasive species removal, and plant native species in the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve. We will focus on timely cleanup efforts and readying the preserve for a fabulous summer. We hope you can join us; register today.

West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

Nearly forty farms and vendors are represented with offerings including seasonal Jersey Fresh produce, mushrooms, sustainably caught seafood, poultry, pastured eggs, freshly milled oats, pickles, sauces, jams, fresh pasta, goats milk products, cheese, breads, baked goods, pastries, pastured meats, vegan savory and sweets, Lebanese salads, Eastern European favorites, Indian simmer sauces and prepared meals, alpaca fiber wear, vegan chocolates, pesticide-free flowers, as well as on-site food trucks with crepes, fresh pressed juices, hot and iced coffee and teas.

Held at the Vaughn Lot at the Princeton Junction Train Station, with plenty of free parking, this gathering space for folks who love good food is known for its wide assortment of offerings and welcoming atmosphere.

Free and open to the public, this event, brought to you by the NJ Small Business Development Center at The College of New Jersey, Mercer County Office of Economic Development, and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Hamilton RWJ Barnabas Health (Hamilton), allows diverse people from all backgrounds the opportunity to experience and learn about Black-owned businesses in the Mercer County area, as well as discover the hidden jewels in the community.

Trenton Indoor Rowing Regatta

Princeton National Rowing Association and Boyd Youth Development are proudly hosting the first Indoor Regatta in the City of Trenton. Students at five Trenton area schools have been learning to row on the Concept 2 Indoor Rowers. These programs will culminate in a city-wide Indoor Race on June 22 at Christina Seix Academy. Special thank you to Concept2 for donating erg and PM5 monitors to the schools to help create an indoor rowing league in Trenton.

The Princeton Pride Parade, Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice

We’ll walk over to join the parade at 400 Witherspoon St, march in the parade route, and then gather at the afterparty at the YMCA.

Vintage Base Ball Game, Historical Society of Princeton

The Flemington Neshanock and the Monmouth Furnace play a competitive match of bare-handed baseball, wearing period uniforms and using 1864 rules. Spectators are invited to take batting practice using authentic replicas of 19th century equipment. Free.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm.

Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12pm-5pm. No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Groups over 8 require reservation.

Bike and Pedestrian Safety Workshop, Hopewell Presbyterian Church
