Storytime at the Brearley House

Bring your little ones (2 - 5 years old) and join us for a delightful morning of storytelling, singing and hands on activities! Members of the Society's Junior Historians club, in their period costumes, will lead your children through a delightful morning of activities. Afterwards, you can tour the historic setting on your own. E ach storytime will revolve around a different theme, giving your children a chance to step back in time and practice their skill at building log cabins (with Lincoln Logs) or washing clothes with an old-fashioned washboard. This event promises to be a memorable experience for the whole family.

Spring Winery Weekend Music Series @Terhune's

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series this Spring. Set in our wine orchard among 100-year-old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the new season. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. The music is from 1 pm-4 pm. Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods, and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats, and ice cream. Winery hours 12 pm-5 pm. No outside food or pets, please. Poetry in the Park - Hopewell Gazebo

Join us for poetry and education in the Foraging Forest in honor of National Poetry Month and National Native Plant Month. We will celebrate the art and science behind our native plants! Together with the Sourland Conservancy, we will present poetry inspired by nature and learn about these amazing foods that call the Sourlands home! This event is open to all ages. Look for an update in March about collecting submissions of poetry to be presented at this event.
