A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail, Kelsey Theatre

Sunday November 27, 2022
1:00 PM

A very special Friend-and-Relation tells Christopher Robin a story of a Christmas Eve very long ago (about last year) when Eeyore, the old gray donkey who lives by himself in the thistle corner of Hundred-Acre Wood, was absolutely miserable. It seems that he lost his tail and Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet got all of their friends and a search was organized. There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs, in the adventure that follows. Its theme, which concerns caring, sharing and the importance of cultivating friends, makes this a very special and enchanting musical suitable for any age. $15/$12

2nd Annual Princeton Daruma Workshop, ACP

Sunday November 27, 2022
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

With the new year approaching, the Arts Council of Princeton has partnered with Miya Table & Home on a community project to refresh, restart, and recommit to our goals, hopes, and dreams. After a sold out debut in 2021, the Princeton Daruma Workshop is back.

The Daruma is a traditional symbol of perseverance, achievement, and good fortune – an iconic symbol found all over Japan in businesses, schools, and homes. The Daruma is most popular around the new year, made with 2 white circles for eyes. Once a goal is set or a wish is made, the owner colors in one eye. The other eye is colored in only after the goal is achieved or the wish comes true. On Tuesday, December 27, the community is invited to design their own during the Princeton Daruma Workshop from 1-2:30pm.

To celebrate this community effort, the completed Daruma will be on view in a collective display in Miya’s Palmer Square window to kick off the new year. Registration includes the Daruma, materials, and instruction. $30. For more information and to register, visit Children under the age of seven should please register with an adult.
