Yardley Historical Association Holiday Pop Up!

Sunday November 20, 2022
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

It’s a Pop-Up!. Come to the Old Library by Lake Afton in Yardley on Sunday, November 20 to see the holiday model train layout in the process of being set up and buy “Yardley” gifts. The pop-up will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at 46 West Afton Avenue and hosted by the Yardley Historical Association. The pop-up is the prelude to the Holiday Open Houses that will be held at the Old Library on December 3, 10, and 17.

Highlights of the events are tooting trains running through a expansive layout reminiscent of the town. At the pop-up, Dean Dickson, engineer-in-chief, will be positioning all the paraphernalia that make the layout so dynamic. He will be pleased to share how-tos and demonstrate the equipment. For those who want to give gifts that are local, an assortment of “Yardley” gifts will be available to purchase. New this year are “Yardley’s Dream” mugs and notecards, as well as the third edition porcelain ornament depicting the Old Library.
