Celebrate el Día de los Muertos with the Arts Council of Princeton! Join us for a free, family-friendly outdoor festival to learn about this culturally rich holiday with Mariachi, dancers, food, and hands-on projects inspired by traditional folk art.
El Día de los Muertos is observed in Mexico and throughout the world this time of year, where family and friends gather to remember and honor those who have passed before us. The Arts Council connects the traditions of the holiday by building a community altar dedicated to loved ones, making sugar skulls, decorating with Celosia and Cempasuchil flowers, and featuring local traditional food and drink of Mexico. Free and open to the public.
