Friends of the Lawrence Library September 2022 Book Sale

Shop the Friends of the Lawrence Library’s September 2022 Book Sale for thousands of used, gently-read books for readers of all ages. The sale begins Friday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. and ends Monday, September 19 at 4:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System, 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Entry to the sale is free and open during the library’s regular hours. No scanning devices will be allowed. Monday, September 19 will be a $5 per bag day.
Book donations for the Friends of the Library Book Sale are being accepted at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch. Proceeds from the book sale fund programs and other library services that benefit library patrons of all ages. Create A Tropical Terrarium, The Watershed

Create a giant tropical terrarium in a 5-gallon glass jar with Assistant Director of Education, Pat Heaney. Like building a ship in a bottle, participants will construct a landscape with a selection of tropical and subtropical plants. The fee for each large terrarium is $60 and includes the antique glass container, all substrate, plants, and decorations.

Creepy Spider Hunt Crab spiders, jumping spiders, wolf spiders, orb and funnel weavers and more! Join our annual night hunt with a nocturnal naturalist. Bring your flashlight or headlamp to use as we navigate the trails in search of many different types of spiders. Ages 5 and up. Adult attendance required. Discount available for members. Dress for the weather.
