Do Rocks Fall from the Sky? Until the late 18th century, philosophers said NO, because There are No Rocks in the Sky. Late July and early August are the best time of year to observe these extraterrestrials. The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks on the night of August 11/12. Are there different types of meteors and meteorites? Find out at LNC. An actual meteorite will be on display at LNC during this talk.
