PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND THE FULL DAY TO EARN THE CERTIFICATE (lender/assistance program requirement) The cost of the workshop is $50 for an individual or $75 for a couple. (A couple is two people purchasing a home together). Light breakfast, lunch and all course materials are provided. Opening Day of the West Windsor Community Farmers Market’s eighteenth year begins Saturday, May 1. To keep everyone safe and distanced, the entrance to the market has changed to 877 Alexander Road through the upper Vaughn Lot. The Market will run each and every Saturday, rain or shine from 9am-1pm until Thanksgiving featuring seventeen farms and twenty artisan food makers and a knife sharpener, all from within fifty-miles of West Windsor.
Joining the roster this year are three farms: Moonshot Farms, Snapping Turtle Farm, and SpiceBush Farm along with Catalina Empanadas, Pure Indian Foods, River Horse Brewery, Sourland Mountain Spirits, Tea-For-All. Look for more organic produce, East Asian vegetables, beer, local spirits, and grass-fed ghee. Mask wearing continues to be required by all, and hand sanitizer stations are located throughout.

Terhune Orchards kicks off summer with the Blueberry Bash on Saturday and Sunday, July 10 & 11 from 10 a.m.–5 p..m. to celebrate the state's official fruit, blueberries. The farm will hold a weekend long party to celebrate these plump and juicy berries. Enjoy a day of family fun including live music, farm fresh food, and a visit to the pick-your-own blueberry patch. The whole family will be entertained. Children will delight in a puppet show presented by Tuckers' Tales Puppet Theatre on Sat. and Sun. at 12 and 1:30p.m. Live music with local bands will play on both days from 12- 4 p.m.

Glenmoore Farm of Hopewell and NakedFeet Productions of Princeton present the first grassroots-organized Summer Outdoor Festival Event of the Year in Hopewell New Jersey with musicians, artists and dancers. Celebrating both local and far musicians, artists and crafts, yoga teachers and merchants traveling from as far away as the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, upstate New York and Oregon, offering wellness activities and workshops, unique merchandise and featuring quality food vendors. The RainbowMoon Fest offers a Shopping Village and four staging areas with live music, performers and immersive educational wellness workshops. The Hopewell Valley Watershed Trail is accessible from the property across from the Big Red Barn! Organizer and performer Joy Okoye says, "explore nature, children's entertainment and unexpected moments of delight!"
For registration - Ticket Prices range from $10 advance tickets ($20 at door) for admission for the daytime portion of the event and $25 advance tickets ($35 at door) for the evening concert and dance. The Yardley Historical Association Book Swap will be held on Saturday, July 10 from 1-4 p.m. The Swap will be held both outside and inside the Old Library by Lake Afton, 46 West Afton Avenue.
Bring a bag of books of interest to adults and/or children and take a bag of “new to you” books home with you. In addition to books, everyone is invited to bring the jigsaw puzzles that they may have accumulated during the past pandemic year. Please bring no more than one grocery bag of books or puzzles.
The Yardley Historical Association is dedicated to the maintenance of the Old Library by Lake Afton and its collections of books, documents, and ephemera related to Yardley’s history. Learn about the finer points of shaping metal when blacksmith Daniel Lapidow fires up the forge and heats wrought iron for bending, hammering, and sharpening. Help out by turning the crank of the forge blower until the iron glows orange, while he makes harness hooks, gate hinges, and other hardware needed on the farm. Initialed horseshoes and other handmade items will be available for purchase.
