Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market

Sunday May 16, 2021
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The TPRFM is proud to share that we are back for 2021! After several postponements and two very safe and successful events in 2020, the TPRFM returns for our annual Spring Fling market on May 15-16, 2021 at the Cure Insurance Arena Parking Lot located at 81 Hamilton Ave, Trenton, NJ!

Although smaller than our standard market due to Covid forcing us to find a new, temporary, outdoor home... this get down will still feature more than 140 different DIY (socially distant) vendors each day, several of the area's finest food trucks both days and plenty of socially distant high fives!

"No-No Boy": Asian American History through Music, Princeton Public Library

Sunday May 16, 2021
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Julian Saporiti, the musician and scholar behind the "No-No Boy" project, joins library staff to watch, listen to and discuss his work connecting Asian American history to the present through song.

"No-No Boy" is an immersive multimedia work blending original folk songs, storytelling, and projected archival images to illuminate hidden American histories. Taking inspiration from his own family’s history living through the Vietnam War, as well as interviews with World War II Japanese Incarceration camp survivors and other stories of Asian American experience, Nashville born songwriter Julian Saporiti has transformed years of doctoral research at Brown University into an innovative project bridging a divide between art and scholarship.
