Kayak Tours, Mercer County Park Marina

Enjoy a morning of paddling, exploration and wildlife viewing on Mercer Lake, weather permitting. Participants will kayak along the lake shores and into the coves to encounter basking turtles, feeding songbirds and even carnivorous plants. We provide all of the supplies needed for a morning of kayaking including binoculars and life vests. Basic kayak instruction is provided before the tour.

For adults and children over 16 years old. Registration required, click here. Tours are restricted to 10 participants. In-County: $25 per person Out-of-County: $30 per person

Community Blood Drive, Princeton University

Princeton University will be holding community blood drives at the Carl A. Fields Center, 58 Prospect Avenue, between 9 am-2 pm on Wednesday, Oct 14 and Thursday, Oct 15.

Dedicated to the memory of Bessie Cutter Perlman, the mother of Special Olympics New Jersey, this event honors her commitment to individuals with intellectual disabilities and her hope for a more inclusive community.

On Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 1:30 PM, the Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor Seniors and Jewish Family and Children's Services invite you to join them as they explore "Opera and the Tanach: Bereshit. This meeting will explore how music and text are used?in opera to bring Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel and their wives to life on the operatic stage. In addition to listening to operatic excerpts, a discussion and comparison of the operatic versions with the traditional texts will be facilitated by Dora Schnur, Ph.D.
