Read and Explore: Birds, Nesting and Birdhouses, Terhune Orchards

Terhune Orchards Read and Explore Program is our winter education series, following the popular seasonal Read and Pick Program. Birds are getting ready for spring and new families. The program lasts about an hour and includes a story and educational segment. After story time, each child will make their own nesting materials and birdhouse to take home.

Easter Egg Hunt, Downtown Princeton

April blooms with an Easter Egg Hunt at Princeton United Methodist Church (PrincetonUMC) on Saturday April 4, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. Indoor festivities for this free event include music, crafts, face painting, and picture taking with the Easter Bunny. Everyone is welcome to register. Children will hunt for eggs on the lawn (weather permitting) or indoors, and they must be accompanied by an adult. Located on the corner of Nassau Street and Vandeventer Avenue, PrincetonUMC is a diverse congregation whose members come from many surrounding communities, backgrounds, and faith histories. 16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day, The Sarnoff Collection

The Sarnoff Collection is once again participating in the 16th annual Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day. This year, Museum Day will showcase #earthoptimism. Visit our lobby exhibit Mr. Fix-It: Tools of the Repair Trade and learn about how radios and televisions were repaired in the 20th century. Also visit our new temporary exhibit, In Living Color to learn about the development of color television.

Our annual Clean Up Day is in conjunction with the American Battlefield Trust's National Park Day. Clip, cut, rake, pick up - - clean up our Park. Everyone is welcome - - bring your family & friends. Garden tools if you have them as well.
