Cupid's Chase, Community Options, Inc.

Cupid's Chase 5k takes place every February to celebrate the founding of Community Options in February 1989. Cupid’s Chase raises both funds and awareness for Community Options’ mission of providing residential and employment services to individuals with disabilities.

Read and Explore: Animal Tracks, Terhune Orchards

Terhune Orchards Read and Explore Program is our winter education series, following the popular seasonal Read and Pick Program. These fun, informative programs include educational activities and stories followed by hands-on crafts and exploration. 

Our second Read and Explore program is Animal Tracks. The program lasts about an hour and includes a craft program plus a story and educational segment. After story time, we will make bird feeders with wild bird seed to take home and help the birds through winter.

Jim Amon, naturalist, photographer and longtime champion of the environment, will discuss and read from his inspiring new book, SEEING THE SOURLANDS: PHOTOS AND ESSAYS, on Saturday, February 8, 2-4 pm, at the Lambertville Free Public Library, 6 Lilly Street. Books will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will benefit the Sourland Conservancy. Lambertville Goes Wild and the Sourland Conservancy are pleased to co-sponsor this free event, with the shared purpose of supporting, preserving and educating about our regional native plants and animals.
