Pre – Hanukah Celebration, Adath Israel Congregation

Adath Israel Congregation's pre – Hanukah celebration will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019, beginning at 9:15 in the morning. Lots of Hanukah activities are planned, including music, games and serving traditional Hanukah foods. The community is invited from the Tot age group to kids of all ages with their parents and grandparents.

In this holiday favorite brought to you each year by Kelsey Theatre and Dance Connection, young ballerinas dance a narrated and abridged version of Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet. Through music and dance, they tell the story of young Clara, who sneaks downstairs on Christmas Eve to play with her favorite present from Uncle Drosselmeyer – a Nutcracker. Alone with her toy, she is suddenly confronted by the menacing Mouse King! Saved by her sweet Nutcracker Prince, she is whisked away to the Land of The Sweets. Awaiting her are the Snow Queen and her king, along with snow fairies, dancing sugar plums and toy soldiers.

American Repertory Ballet's Nutcracker, State Theatre New Jersey - Two Performances

American Repertory Ballet brings the beloved classic Nutcracker to the stage with Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, thrilling choreography and a cast of more than 100. A holiday tradition for more than 50 years (1964), American Repertory Ballet’s Nutcracker is one of the longest, continuously running Nutcracker productions in the nation. ARB’s professional company will be joined by select students from Princeton Ballet School to tell the story of a young girl named Clara and how a mysterious gift from her Uncle Drosselmeyer brings about enchanted dreams and fantastical scenes.

Chanukah Wonderland, Chabad of Robbinsville & S. Hamilton

Chabad Lubavitch of Greater Mercer County together with Chabad of Robbinsville & S. Hamilton embraces the true spirit of community and the power of light over dark with many Chanukah celebrations. Starting with the annual Chanukah Wonderland, taking place this year on Sunday, December 15th, from 4:30-6:30 PM. The community is invited to share in the Chanukah celebration that will be an enjoyable event for all ages! Chanukah Wonderand will feature the building of a HUGE 6 foot ice Menorah with a live sculpting show! Chanukah olive oil press and demo, a festive dinner and lots of camaraderie! Also don't miss our epic Dreidel piñata and fresh latka frying station! Don't forget to check out the Judaica pop-up shop as well!
