Land of the Pines - New Jersey State Museum

Story, exhibit tour and craft for ages 5 and younger accompanied by adults. Free. Register.

Held the third weekend of each month, on Friday at 2:00 pm, and Saturday at 10:00 am & 12:00 pm in the Discovery Den. For children 6 months to 5 years old with their caregivers. Each month the Small Explorers series explores a different theme through stories, crafts, and play. Each program is 45 minutes long and begins promptly. Illuminated Sukkot Shabbat, Beth El Synagogue

On Friday, October 18, 2019, at 6:00 pm, join Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor for an Illuminated Sukkot Shabbat. Attend a Family Shabbat Service or Regular Friday Night Service followed by a Congregational Deli Shabbat Dinner. R.S.V.P before October 4, 2019 and pay $13 per person and $10 for children under 12. R.S.V.P between October 4, 2019 and October 11, 2019 and pay $15 per person and $12 for children under 12. Pasta alternative available for children and vegetarian options available upon request.

Star Observation Session, New Jersey State Museum’s Planetarium

Visit the Planetarium Friday evening for a special nighttime star talk in the Planetarium, then hop in your car and follow us a short drive to the Washington Crossing Park Simpson Observatory (weather permitting). The Amateur Astronomy Association of Princeton will be on hand with telescopes to observe the night sky and help visitors with their use. If viewing conditions are poor, immediately following the sky talk guests will see a free Planetarium show. Recommended for ages 7+.
