Auditions, Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO)

Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO) is celebrating 60 years! GPYO will be holding spring auditions on September 12 from 5:30pm-9:00pm. Auditions are scheduled by appointment, so please fill out an application on our website. Auditions and rehearsals are held at Montgomery High School in Skillman, NJ. GPYO is looking for elementary through high school students in Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, especially students who play double reeds, brass, and double bass.

Author Mort Zachter - Princeton Public Library

Princeton author Mort Zachter discusses his book “Red Holzman: The Life and Legacy of a Hall of Fame Basketball Coach,” his biography of the winningest coach in the history of the New York Knickerbockers NBA franchise. Zachter is a former tax attorney and tax professor at New York University. His first book, “Dough: A Memoir,” won the 2006 Association of Writers and Writing Programs Book Prize for nonfiction. Copies of “Red Holzman” will be available for purchase and signing. All proceeds from the sales of the book will benefit the library.

The Sound of Music - Kelsey Theater
