Birding Field Trip, Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society on Saturday, March 30 at 8 AM for a free, public field trip led by Sharyn Magee around the Pole Farm of Mercer Meadows. We will be on alert for raptors, woodpeckers, migration fly-overs, early migrating songbirds and possibly a bald eagle. Take Keefe Rd. to Cold soil Rd. At the bend, the entrance is marked with a sign "Mercer Meadows Pole Farm" on the left. Meet in the parking lot. Please register with Brad Merritt (609) 921-8964 prior to the trip for carpooling instructions, or the evening prior for cancellation updates in the event of inclement weather.

Saving Saplings, Sourland Conservancy

Baldpate Mountain

Help us to protect the next generation of forest plants from deer. First we'll search for and learn about young native woody plants in the dormant forest, then we'll build quick, affordable wire hoop fences to protect the saplings we find. Learn skills that can be used in your backyard or local projects. You'll also learn more about our Baldpate restoration site, where Sourland Stewards leaders have been at work assessing, planning, monitoring, and implementing an ambitious ecological restoration. Spring Rabies Clinic, Princeton Fire Department

Princeton Health Department will be hosting a free rabies clinic Saturday, March 30th 2019. This clinic will be held the Princeton Fire Department, 363 Witherspoon Street, Princeton NJ from 10am to Noon. • This is a free service for any NJ resident • Cats and Dogs only • All dogs must be on a leash controlled by a responsible adult • All cats must be in a carrier or pillow case.

Microchip Service Available! Our friends at SAVE Animal Shelter will be on site offering microchip services for $25. Princeton Animal Control carries a portable microchip scanner. In cases where we find a pet with no collar, we could scan that animal in the field and possibly locate an owner with the microchip information. This is highly recommended for all dogs and cats.

Free trial classes of Young Rembrandts Kids Drawing Classes – March 30th - 1-2 pm and 2-3pm at the Community Well (Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville) Each week elementary school age children receive a unique drawing lesson full of child-friendly subject matter. Children taught using our method develop increased patience, discipline and focus as well as a host of artistic skills such as art vocabulary and history, drawing and art skills, and expanded creativity, imagination and confidence. Six week session begins Monday, April 8th. All are welcome to attend free trial!

Princeton Photo Workshop: Explore Cherry Street and Race Street Piers

Open less than 6 months, the indoor/outdoor Cherry Street Pier, on Philadelphia's Delaware River waterfront, preserves the historic character of a 100 year-old warehouse with its original railroad tracks, steel-trussed roof and masonry headhouses. We will also visit Race Street Pier to capture dramatic views of the bridge, visitors to the park, the waterfront, barges and boats.

Inspired by childhood favorites like Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan, B—The Underwater Bubble Show is a lavish musical production featuring dancers and acrobats, original music, and fantastic stage effects including lasers, low ground smoke, flying foam, and soap bubbles to create a dreamlike underwater atmosphere.
