2018 Mercer County Teen Arts Festival

The 2018 Mercer County Teen Arts Festival will be held Friday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the campus of Mercer County Community College in West Windsor. The Teen Arts Festival is a comprehensive arts education program open to all Mercer County public, private, parochial and home-school students in middle and high school, grades 6 through 12, ages 13 to 19.

The festival, under the direction of the Division of Culture & Heritage, spotlights the work of hundreds of Mercer County teen artists and involves scores of volunteers and more than 40 professionals serving as critics. The festival will move to the gymnasium in the event of rain.

Annual Spring Concert, Trenton Children's Chorus

Trenton Children's Chorus (TCC) will host their annual Spring Concert on Friday, May 18 at 7:00pm. The concert will be held at Christ Temple Ministries (formerly Covenant Presbyterian Church), 471 Parkway Avenue in Trenton. Admission is free and open to the public. The concert will feature performances of music from Italy, Cameroon, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, and the Torres Strait Islands, in a variety of languages. Special guest artists from the Trenton High jazz ensemble Cornbread will also perform at the concert. The band consists of seven teenagers who participated in the Trenton High School Orchestra under the direction of Joseph Pucciatti.
