The next monthly Tot Funday Sunday will be held at Adath Israel Congregation on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM.

From 9:00-9:15 AM, the 3 and 4 year olds will meet with the rest of the Religious School for Havdalah, followed by their own class. Each month we learn about Judaism in a social and fun way. November's special topic will be the story of Noah, presented in a kid friendly manner. We do crafts and have a snack related to the craft. (Animal crackers may be perfectly appropriate for Noah).. All are invited to attend; there is no charge. Parents and grandparents may stay with their child, if desired.

Veterans Day Ceremony, Catholic War Veterans Post 417

The public is invited to attend a Veterans Day ceremony presented by Mercer County Veteran Services in conjunction with the Mercer County Veterans Council. The event will take place Sunday, Nov. 5, at noon at Catholic War Veterans Post 417, 301 Grand St., Trenton.

Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes will join with other County and local officials to give recognition and appreciation to the many County residents who have served in America's armed forces. Mr. Hughes will give brief remarks at the ceremony, and remarks by retired U.S. Army Col. Robert E. Watson will follow.

This year's program will also feature the laying of a wreath to honor veterans' service, a salute to fallen veterans by American Legion Post 31, and the playing of taps by Walter Kramarz of the Mercer County Veterans Council

52nd Annual All Start Classic Wrestling Event, Jadwin Gym

Wrestlers in Business Network, Princeton Chapter, is hosting the 52nd annual All Start Classic, a national wrestling event, at Jadwin Gym on November 5th.  This particular event has never been held in Princeton before, but many historic wrestling events have taken place at Princeton over the past 50 years.  Not least of which include an NCAA division I championship tournament in the 80's and numerous NJ high school state championships.  Jadwin Gym, is symbolic for many wrestling fans, as a place where NJ wrestling has showcased its most talented athletes.  On November 5th, wrestling fans will #comebacktoJadwin to capture that spirit again.

Autumn Celebration, New Jersey Chapter of the Northeast Organic Farming Association

Celebrate our New Jersey farms and farmers at NOFA-NJ's "Autumn Celebration" on Sunday, November 5th from 6 - 9:00 pm at the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association. Dance to the the energetic calling by Sue Dupre who will guide us through contra and other lively dances---perhaps even a waltz---to the music of "The Stonybrook Band" with Bill Flemer, David Olsen, and their talented group. Enjoy grazing amongst the tables spread with delicious appetizers and seductive desserts from our local chefs and restaurants that use ingredients grown on Jersey farms: Blawenburg Cafe, Bobolink Farm, Brothers Moon, Hamilton's Grill, Ryland Inn, Brick Farm Market, Sourland Bakery, Terhune Orchards, and Terra Momo Restaurant Group. Referend Brewery will be having a tasting of their unique beers made in Hopewell and cider from Terhune Orchards will quench your thirst.
