Annual Memorial Day Observance

Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes and area veterans will gather at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 28, in the veteran section at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton to hold the County's annual Memorial Day observance.

Mr. Hughes will deliver opening remarks at the observance, which has been organized by Mercer County Veteran Services, and Chief Master Sgt. Janeen Fillari, New Jersey Air National Guard, will deliver the keynote address.

The ceremony to salute the men and women from Mercer County who have given their lives in service to their fellow Americans will conclude with a wreath-laying, 21-gun salute, playing of taps, and benediction.

Hopewell Memorial Day Parade

Everyone enjoys an old-fashioned parade with veterans marching, bands playing, flags waving, and fire trucks shining. Line up is organized at Taylor Terrace and the marching begins at 1pm, moving east on Broad Street. Sponsored by the Hopewell Borough Fire Department.
