Emerald Ash Borer: Treatment Options for Homeowners

On Thursday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System will host the program Emerald Ash Borer: Treatment Options for Homeowners. The dreaded emerald ash borer is in our community and thousands of ash trees are now under threat. Pam Zipse, Outreach Coordinator of the Rutgers Urban Forestry Program of the NJ Agricultural Experiment Station and Nicholas Polanin, Agricultural Agent for Somerset County, will discuss options including a mechanism for evaluating the costs of treatment versus removal. Registration is suggested.
