Welcome to the Ask Jill section of Family Works! My name is Jill Kaufman. I am a local parent educator who has joined Family Works! to answer users' questions regarding discipline, sibling rivalry and many other issues facing parents of  toddlers through teens. Children have the ability to touch the very depth of our souls. One moment we're feeling love and joy; the next moment, frustration and  incompetence and, at times, despair. We get instructions with any small appliance we buy but when we have children, we are expected to know the right  thing to do. There IS help for parents and the purpose of this site is to give  parents support for the most important job they can do - raising their children.

I am committed to helping raise a generation of children who have high self-esteem and a well-developed sense of responsibility for themselves and  their community. I am pleased to be a part of Princeton Online's Family Works! and look forward to helping other parents with their parenting questions. Please feel free to e-mail me suggestions, success stories or Book reviews at Ask Jill.
