Tai Chi with our steadfast volunteers and beloved teachers Lisa and Robert! They’ll be leading classes by the River for all levels on Saturday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Blue Moon Acres Farm Market

Blue Moon Acres Farm Market will open for the season beginning on Friday April 18th. The farm market will be open on Fridays 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm until December. 11 Willow Creek Drive, Pennington.

Blue Moon Acres’ mission is to offer the most nutritious organically-grown produce and locally-sourced favorites. Owners Jim and Kathy Lyons have provided organic food to restaurants for thirty four years and want to offer it to their neighbors as well. Inside the geothermally heated and cooled building will be a selection of Blue Moon-grown Certified Organic produce, micro greens, eggs, rice, our own line of Herbarium body care products made with herbs grown on the farm, as well as an array of products from other local vendors. New this year: Cherry Grove Farm and Doublebrook Farm meats, Cherry Grove Farm cheeses, Otolith sustainable seafood, and Bent Spoon ice cream.

Customers may also sign up for a subscription produce box for weekly pickup at the farm or delivery to their home. We offer our boxes containing Certified Organic produce and fruits year-round!

Terhune’s popular Canning & Freezing class, Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Learn oursecrets for preserving peaches and other fruits and vegetables at their peak, and get answers to your canning and freezing questions. Peaches, blueberries and corn are easy to freeze or can at the height of their freshness. Follow easy directions and you’ll have a delicious reminder of your Terhune visit to enjoy during the cold winter months.

Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair

Mercer County 4-H invite residents to showcase their creative talents and skills at the 106th Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair! The Fair is an inspirational community event, celebrating agriculture, innovation, and the talent of Mercer County residents. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 26, and from 10 AM to 4 PM, Sunday, July 27. Admission and parking are free to all attendees.

Across both days of The Fair, visitors can enjoy animal shows, live music, farm tours, exhibits, children's activities, hayrides, magic shows, and pony rides. Plenty of food and drink, including homemade ice cream, will be available for purchase. The opening ceremony for the fair will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 26 in the Show Tent. A country dance with a string band and a caller is scheduled for 6 PM on Sunday, July 27.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm. Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream.

Winery hours 12pm-5pm. No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Groups over 8 require reservation.

Wine on the Waterfront, Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA)

The Friends of Washington Crossing Park’s Wine on the Waterfront returns to the banks of the Delaware River in Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA) on Saturday, July 26 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.

All proceeds help the Friends continue to provide educational and historical programming at the park. Invite your friends, bring your picnic blanket or chairs, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the waterfront sampling wines from a number of Pennsylvania and New Jersey wineries.
