Blue Moon Acres Farm Market will open for the season beginning on Friday April 18th. The farm market will be open on Fridays 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm until December. 11 Willow Creek Drive, Pennington.
Blue Moon Acres’ mission is to offer the most nutritious organically-grown produce and locally-sourced favorites. Owners Jim and Kathy Lyons have provided organic food to restaurants for thirty four years and want to offer it to their neighbors as well. Inside the geothermally heated and cooled building will be a selection of Blue Moon-grown Certified Organic produce, micro greens, eggs, rice, our own line of Herbarium body care products made with herbs grown on the farm, as well as an array of products from other local vendors. New this year: Cherry Grove Farm and Doublebrook Farm meats, Cherry Grove Farm cheeses, Otolith sustainable seafood, and Bent Spoon ice cream.
Customers may also sign up for a subscription produce box for weekly pickup at the farm or delivery to their home. We offer our boxes containing Certified Organic produce and fruits year-round!

The Cadwalader Park Alliance in partnership with the City of Trenton will be hosting an Arbor Day tree planting event this Friday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help restore the 100-acre park's tree canopy. Supported by a grant from the PSEG Foundation and the Arbor Day Foundation, the event is one of several efforts to replace trees in the park and in Trenton more broadly, mostly with larger shade trees but also several native flowering understory trees as well for a total of 35 to 40 trees.
At the event, staff will instruct volunteers on proper tree planting methods. A site contractor will pre-dig holes for the trees, and volunteers will assist in installing and mulching the trees and installing tree guards to prevent damage from deer.
Those who wish to volunteer are invited to join the event around 9:30 a.m. at the Ranger Station in front of Ellarslie, with an anticipated finish time of 2 p.m. Tools will be provided, as will coffee, water and a light snack. Pre-registration is not necessary but is appreciated to help determine the number of tools and gloves needed as well as to gauge the quantity of snacks. Please email Randy Baum at randybaum258@gmail.com.

In his late thirties, Jeff Chu left his job as a magazine writer and found himself at Princeton Theological Seminary’s “Farminary”—a twenty-one-acre working farm where students learn to cultivate the earth while examining life’s biggest questions. Now, he unpacks what he learned about creating “good soil,” both literally and figuratively, drawing lessons from the rhythms of growth, decay, and regeneration that define life on the land.
Join us for this exclusive conversation between Chu and Krista Tippett, host of On Being. Together, they’ll discuss the new book and why, at a time when we seem most drawn to the phones in our hands, we need to connect to the land.

Come join us at a celebration of Afro-Colombian music with Neblinas del Pacífico featuring Grammy Award Winner Eryen Korath Ortiz Garcés. The band Neblinas del Pacífico (La Mission, San Francisco) presents a sound fabric of marimba de chonta music from the Afro-Colombian Pacific: music of rivers and mangroves, of polyrhythms and harmonies, of spirituality and everyday life, of ancestors and tradition, of celebration and resistance. Featuring instruments like marimba de chonta, bombos, cununos, and guasás, their performance is a vibrant celebration of Colombia's Pacific Coast heritage. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will be held at the Carl A. Fields Center, which is at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Olden Street. After 4pm on weekdays and all day on weekends, visitors can park in many University parking lots for free. For more information please see the University’s Visitor parking page.

A derogatory comment, a summit gone awry, an anal abscess—it’s a bad day at the White House. When the President unwittingly spins a PR nightmare into a global crisis, it inevitably falls on the seven women he relies on most to clean up the mess. Take a raucous romp through the halls of the West Wing in a riotous and irreverent farce about the men who hold the power vs. the women who get the job done. This Broadway hit about the women who must save a bumbling President and the world from falling apart (again) is filled with intelligence, wit, and a shocking amount of audacity. ? ?

All aboard as the talented students of the Academic Theater and Dance Program and Entertainment Technology bring you this toe-tapping musical. When the S.S. American heads out to sea, two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love – but sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, a comical disguise, and some good old-fashioned blackmail. This classic musical has been updated with a fantastic new book (2022), but still features Cole Porter’s most joyful score, including “I Get A Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” and, of course, the show-stopping title song. After more disguises, ploys, confessions, mistaken identities, and marriage proposals - all done to toe tapping music-how will everything work out? Who knows? Anything goes!
