D&R Greenway's Native Plant Sales

D&R Greenway Land Trust's Native Plant Sales will be held Thursday, April 10th from 12 noon – 4 p.m.; Friday, April 11th from 12 noon – 3 p.m. and Saturday, April 12th from 9 a.m. – 12 noon at D&R Greenway's Native Plant Nursery.

Artist Roberto Lugo and Curator Carolyn M. Laferrière, Princeton University Art Museum

Join the artist Roberto Lugo for a conversation with Carolyn M. Laferrière, associate curator of ancient Mediterranean art. On view at Art@Bainbridge, Roberto Lugo / Orange and Black displays a selection of Lugo's new ceramic works, which draw on the shapes, techniques, and decorative motifs of ancient Greek vases to tell personal and communal stories of contemporary social and political oppression. Shown alongside Lugo's vases are a selection of ancient Greek vessels from the collections of the Princeton University Art Museum, creating a temporal, visual, and social juxtaposition between ancient and modern. CLAUDE WINN: “Moving in Time and Space” - Art Opening

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors is pleased to present a new exhibition of abstract artwork by local artist Claude Winn. The public is invited to attend an opening reception on Thursday, April 10, from 5:30-7:30PM at 253 Nassau Street, Princeton. The exhibition showcases 11 of Winn's distinctive abstract paintings, paying tribute to artists who greatly influence her work, including Joan Mitchell and Helen Frankenthaler. The exhibition will remain on view through April 15.

Jess Gillam, Saxophone and Thomas Weaver, Piano, Richardson Auditorium

With her natural energy, infectious personality and talent to spare, 26-year-old saxophone wonder Jess Gillam was the first saxophonist to reach the finals of BBC Young Musician and the youngest-ever soloist to perform at the Last Night of the Proms. She was also the first solo saxophonist to appear on PUC’s season when she made her jaw-dropping debut on the Performances Up Close series in 2022. She will now be the first-ever saxophonist to appear on the PUC’s mainstage Concert Classics series as she continues to redefine the capabilities of her extraordinary instrument.
