Hopewell Quarry Polar Plunge

For the very first time, the Hopewell Quarry challenges local community members to brave the chilly waters of the Quarry- in winter! All proceeds will go towards supporting the Hopewell Quarry. Participants will receive a special Quarry Plunge Towel (while supplies last).

Birds, Nesting and Birdhouses

Terhune Orchards Read and Explore Program is our winter education series, following the popular seasonal Read and Pick Program. Birds are getting ready for spring and new families. The program lasts about an hour and includes a story and educational segment. After story time, each child will make their own birdhouse and get nesting materials to take home. Visit from the Horse Doctor & Shoer, Howell Living History Farm

Shots, worming medicine, dental exams, and hoof trimming are in store for Howell Farm’s seven workhorses when the veterinarian and dentist come for their spring visit. Join them in the barn, where they will be at work all day ensuring that horses, sheep, chickens, and farm cat Bushy are fit and ready for spring. Visitors can listen to a horse’s heart through a stethoscope, watch an equine dentist at work, and learn about old and new veterinary instruments and techniques. The farrier will be shoeing, and the blacksmith working in the forge.

The Memory Café, CMAP

The Memory Café meets monthly on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to noon, at the same time as the Forget-Me-Not group. While caregivers have the option to participate in Forget-Me-Not during the first hour, attending Forget-Me-Not is not required to be a part of the Memory Café. During the first hour of the Memory Café, participants enjoy introductions and snacks, followed by a variety of activities designed to stimulate memory, creativity, and social interaction. In the second hour, caregivers join their loved ones in the Memory Café, where they can engage in activities together, creating meaningful connections and shared experiences. This session offers a welcoming space for both individuals living with memory loss and their caregivers to connect and enjoy each other’s company.

First Signs of Spring, Grounds For Sculpture

Gain hands-on experience while learning about invasive plant species, the challenges they present, and techniques for their management and removal. Sustainable Home Expo, Sustainable Princeton

We will also be encouraging the vendors to offer show specials to attendees.

Along with the expo floor, there will be educational sessions where residents can learn more about sustainable home topics including Planting for Pollinators, Energy Efficiency, Stormwater Management, Accessory Dwelling Units, and more! This free event will allow homeowners and renters to learn about sustainable upgrades they can make to their homes to save energy and resources.

Winery Weekend Music Series @Terhune's

Join us for cheer in the winery to enjoy live music and meet up with family and friends. With indoor seating in our wine barn among the wine tanks and outdoor seating with firepits.
