The 55-Plus Club of Princeton will meet on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 10 am, at the Jewish Center, 435 Nassau St. and online via Zoom. Sam Daley-Harris, activist, author and founder of RESULTS & Civic Courage, will speak on "Learning to Make a Difference Between Elections." All are welcome.

Terhune Orchards 50th Anniversary

On March 6th, we will hold a special gathering in the wine barn to mark the 50th anniversary of Pam & Gary Mount’s purchase of Terhune Orchards on March 6, 1975. The event will include remarks from Ed Wengryn, NJ Secretary of Agriculture, and NJ State Senator Shirley Turner. We look forward to gathering with friends, family, and our community leaders to share memories and mark this special occasion together.

Cor Cordis Speaker Series - Emotion Language and Regulation for Youth Wellbeing

Emotions are a cornerstone of wellbeing. This session will cover emerging evidence connecting the words people use to how they manage (or regulate) those emotions. We will discuss studies on phenomena like emotion differentiation (specifically identifying one's emotions) and linguistic distancing (using language to 'take a step back' from upsetting situations).

Join us for an informative presentation at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 6, 2025, by Gary Lee Kraut, an award-winning travel specialist who grew up in Ewing, NJ, and has lived in Paris for over 35 years. In this illustrated lecture, Gary will explore the development of these bistros over the past 150 years and their current role in Paris's culinary scene. He'll introduce the audience to some of the owners, patrons, dishes, and wines that are part of his own Paris bistro life and that you, too, can meet and enjoy on your next trip to Paris.
