This month’s Hora Feliz is sure to get your vitamin C in with the “Battle of The Oranges”, inspired by the Carnival of Ivrea in Piedmont, Italy. The ceremony, part of the town’s historic carnival, marks the rebellion of the people against the tyrannical lords who ruled the town in the Middle Ages which many might consider is much needed these days. Chef will prepare a variety of assaggini and tapas utilizing the humble orange to be paired with delicious wines of Piedmont and beyond….
