Memory Screenings, Hopewell Branch Library

Take this opportunity to get a memory screening, consisting of a series of questions and/or tasks designed to test memory, language skills, thinking ability, and other intellectual functions. The 15-minute screenings and review of the results are both confidential. Please note: A memory screening is not used to diagnose any particular illness and does not replace consultation with a qualified physician or other healthcare professional. Tai Chi @Grounds for Sculpture

Join staff from veteran-owned Dao Concepts and keep that drive to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle! This series promotes overall wellness through the practice of Yang Style Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese art that blends exercise with stress reduction. Each week will include a warmup, followed by low-impact Tai Chi movements necessarily to learn the entire Yang Style 16 and 24 Step Contemporary Forms. Taking place outdoors at GFS, this is a unique opportunity to focus on both body and spirit, as you will be surrounded by the beauty and inspiration of art. No experience needed, safe for all ages. Ensure that you sign up for the entire program series. Admission to GFS is included, so feel free to enjoy the grounds!

Opening Reception, Princeton Photography Club

The Princeton Photography Club, in conjunction with the RWJ University Hospital, Hamilton, is pleased to announce an exhibit of four local photographers as part of its Spotlight Series. The exhibit runs from November 7th, 2024 to January 29th, 2025 with an opening reception on November 6th from 5 – 7 pm. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

The Lakefront Gallery is located at 1 Hamilton Health Place, Hamilton Township, NJ. Note that all visitors to the Lakefront Gallery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital are subject to New Jersey's General State Visitation Guidelines for Hospitals and RWJ's specific visitor policy.

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Princeton Garden Theatre

Yunchan Lim, McCarter Theatre

The South Korean classical pianist Yunchan Lim performs with both the technical brilliance and heartfelt emotion of an artist who has already dedicated their life to music. In 2022, he became the youngest person ever to win gold at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, where he was also honored with the Audience Award and Best Performance of a New Work. His star is quickly rising— a recording of his final appearance at the Cliburn Competition (Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3) has racked up millions of views on YouTube.
