Scarecrows
Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on activity with your young child and listening to a story highlighting that aspect of farming. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about Scarecrows. We will be reading books about scarecrows, farming and planting. Then everyone will participate in a scarecrow craft.
The cost is $12.00 per child and includes the craft activity. Two sessions: 9:30 am and 11 am, lasting about one hour. Online pre-purchase of tickets is required. Register terhuneorchards.ticketspice.com/read-pick-2024

Join us in the barn at Updike Farmstead for the story of the desperate hours at the end of 1776 when the American Revolution seemed lost. Struggling through unimaginable difficulties, the Continental Army crossed the Delaware on Christmas, winning three battles in 10 days, culminating in the Battle of Princeton on January 3, 1777. These victories changed the course of history and enabled the birth of our free nation.
