Yoga in the Garden, Morven Museum & Garden

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm.

Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12pm-5pm. No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Art of Cyanotype, Arts Council of Princeton

Join artist Jacqui Alexander for an afternoon of chemistry and creativity. Cyanotype is a basic photographic process that uses the sun's UV rays to create shadowy silhouettes against a vibrant blue background. Learn all about the technique — which dates back to the 1840s — before trying your hand at creating cyanotype printed cloth napkins using your own found and gathered objects. Register. $50; $35 for children age 10 to 18 accompanied by an adult.

Making jam is a time-honoured tradition and one of the tastiest ways to preserve an abundant harvest. Strawberries are now in season and there will soon be an abundance of fruits! What to do with so many? Make jam of course. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make strawberry jam, and you will leave knowing the basics and with lots of tips for making all kinds of jams. You will feel prepared and ready to preserve any of our local, abundant summer and fall fruit harvests - raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, peaches and more. All materials will be provided and you will take home a half pint jar of strawberry jam that you have made in class. It will taste so much better than any store bought jam!

Princeton Battlefield Tour, Princeton Battlefield Society

Spend a Sunday afternoon at the Princeton Battlefield State Park and learn more about the Battle of Princeton, a battle that ended the "ten crucial days" of 1776-1777. Walk in the footprints of Washington's troops and listen to exciting narratives of soldier and civilian experiences. Your tour is led by an approved Historical Interpreter. Following the approximately one hour tour, visit the historic Thomas Clarke House, the home of a Quaker farming family and the only remaining structure from the January 3, 1777 Battle of Princeton.
