Discover the perfect blend of scenic exploration and expert guidance with our complimentary walking program on the beautiful trails of Princeton. Led by a seasoned doctor of physical therapy, it’s not just a walk — it’s a chance to ask questions and learn about walking safety while surrounded by nature’s beauty. Walking sticks and canes are welcome, although participants must be able to keep up with the pace of the group in order to attend the program. This program is offered in partnership with Innovative Physical Therapy in Princeton. Leader: Dr. Laura Wong Koenig No fee, registration required.

Let's Get Physical: Engaging in Simple Muscle-Building Activities, Mercer County Library

Ricardo provides a brief overview of the importance of engaging in muscle-building activities, examples of activities that incorporate various muscles throughout the body, and tips for adding these activities to your weekly routine. Led by Donavan L. Ramon, Assistant Professor of English, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Bildner Visiting Scholar, Fall 2023 In this two-part virtual book club, Professor Donavan Ramon will guide participants in a discussion of key themes in The Human Stain by Philip Roth and Passing by Nella Larsen, as well as comparisons between the two novels. The first session, on June 5, will focus on The Human Stain. The second session, on June 26, will focus on Passing. Presented by the Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life at Rutgers, the book club is free and open to the public. It is necessary to register for each session separately on the Bildner Center's website.
