Princeton Community Blood Drive, ACP

Let's roll up our sleeves and help save lives! The Arts Council is proudly partnering with the American Red Cross, who has over 135 years of experience providing humanitarian aid including more than 75 years of supplying blood to those in need. Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. Let's pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country.

West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

Nearly forty farms and vendors are represented with offerings including seasonal Jersey Fresh produce, mushrooms, sustainably caught seafood, poultry, pastured eggs, freshly milled oats, pickles, sauces, jams, fresh pasta, goats milk products, cheese, breads, baked goods, pastries, pastured meats, vegan savory and sweets, Lebanese salads, Eastern European favorites, Indian simmer sauces and prepared meals, alpaca fiber wear, vegan chocolates, pesticide-free flowers, as well as on-site food trucks with crepes, fresh pressed juices, hot and iced coffee and teas.

Held at the Vaughn Lot at the Princeton Junction Train Station, with plenty of free parking, this gathering space for folks who love good food is known for its wide assortment of offerings and welcoming atmosphere.

PRIDE Hike and Trivia, The Watershed

Come out in nature as we wrap up Pride Month with a trivia hike celebrating LGBTQ+ culture and the natural world! Our naturalists will lead you on a gentle hike through our beautiful reserve as they serve up questions to entertain and challenge your knowledge. Enjoy safe space in the great outdoors and maybe even make some new friends!

This program is open to families and individuals of all ages. Preregistration is required. Dress for the weather, wear boots (it’s muddy here!), bring a light bag (if preferred), and your reusable water bottle! Feel free to bring additional picnic supplies if you would like to sit and mingle after the event.

Ice Cream Party, Howell Farm

Farmer Jim and his crew will use a "hit and miss" engine to churn gallons of ice cream in the shade of a maple tree...while live music by the Jugtown Mountain String Band, kids' games, and a sailboat craft add to the fun on the front lawn. Ice cream, wagon rides, and lunch fare are available for purchase.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm.

Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12pm-5pm. No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Groups over 8 require reservation.

This Rodgers & Hammerstein classic is one of the world’s most beloved musicals.

Knife Skills Class, Shelley's Table

You know you need this! A must do class if you want to make cooking more fun and approachable. In this class you will learn how to sharpen and use a chef's knife and a paring knife. We will cover many cutting techniques with vegetables and fruit while making the dishes to be enjoyed together.

Al Lubel, Catch A Rising Star

Al Lubel became a lawyer to satisfy his mother and quit to become a comedian to satisfy his sadistic need to torture her. After graduating law school in Florida, Al moved to California, passed the bar exam on his first try and immediately began the practice of standup comedy.

Doing the Tonight Show was a big childhood fantasy, so Al auditioned and became one of the last comics to appear with Johnny Carson. Al went on to do six more Tonight Show appearances with Jay Leno and made five appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman. Al has also played an attorney on the Blake Clark HBO Comedy Hour and has been featured in the Showtime and PBS special, A Standup Life.
