The one-of-a-kind artwork for sale includes paintings, sculptures, pottery, glass, and hand-sewn items. Through May 18.

Join a naturalist by the Eagle Viewing area along Mercer Lake to take a peek at an eagles' nest through a spotting scope and to have your eagle questions answered. The viewing area is a 5-minute walk from the Mercer County Park-West picnic area parking lot. No registration required. Drop in encouraged.

Visit our calves, go for a hayride, a wild plant walk and then relax for the weekend with some gentle yoga. Jersey Artisan Co will be here with their mozzarella, ricotta, feta, sourdough bread and arancini. Ironbound Cider will be offering tastings of their many varieties of hard cider and The Shepherd's Pasture will have plants and jams for sale. They realize this will be more challenging than they thought, as obstacles are thrown in their way from every direction. Between what is traditionally expected of them, the prejudices that women from the Middle East in America face, and the daily struggles of finding someone who is husband material, it remains to be seen if they will succeed. To “make do” is an idiom. Grammatically, it is a phrase. It means to work with what one has on hand or to persevere through difficult circumstances. Each artist in this show makes work that exemplifies this term. Some of us have always worked in this way: gleaning the metaphor from the world, finding meaning in everyday objects, and excavating the strange beauty we perceive in the cast-offs in the street, field, and forage. Others found our way to this kind of work during the pandemic: forced into isolation, we questioned, examined, played with and discovered new and fruitful ways of working.

This NEW art exhibit at the wine tasting room Angelicio Winery showcases six artists in a peaceful setting of rolling hills and farmlands. Angelicio Winery, a five-generation winery and vineyard from Sicily, now located in New Jersey, is hosting the exhibition. South Brunswick Jazz Café Concert - Section Jazz

Section Jazz is unique in that it presents music by the great jazz composers, the Great American Songbook, and World Music influences. Four veteran musicians came together during COVID with a need to play and Section Jazz was born. The band is led by drummer Mike DeSimone, and includes pianist Jonathan Benjamin, bassist Paul Daloia, and guitarist Mike Hogan.
