In Person Shadow Day, Villa Victoria Academy

Thinking about making a change for this year or next year? Middle school and high school in-person classes are offered to those girls wanting to be a Villa girl for the day and learn more about our program. Shadow day spots are limited so register early. Visitors will spend the day with a Villa ambassador in the appropriate grade. Parents tours are also available that day.

Anything Goes, Rider University

Anything Goes is set aboard the ocean liner S. S. American, where nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney is en route from New York to England. Her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt, but the problem is Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Joining this love triangle on board the luxury liner are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Erma. With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart.

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on Detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.

Frog Slog, The Watershed

Enter the nocturnal world of frogs as we explore the dark, wet trails of the Watershed Reserve. Serenaded by spring peepers along the way, we will visit some vernal pools to meet some early tadpoles. At our final stop along the trail, we will search for our spring peeper friends. Ages 6 and up. Discount available for members.

Princeton Folk Music Society presents a celebration of the legacy of Pete Seeger with Professor Allan Winkler.

Pete Seeger (1919-2014) is one of the most influential figures in American folk music. Allan Winkler is a retired History professor and a performing musician and the author of To Everything There is a Season: Pete Seeger and the Power of Song (New York, Oxford University Press, 2009).
