Recruitment Social, Anchor House Ride for Runaways

The Ride for Runaways is an annual, 500-mile, 1-week, fully supported cycling challenge founded in 1979 that raises money to support Anchor House, a multi-service charitable agency in Trenton for abused, runaway, and homeless youth and young adults. Have a beer and meet veteran riders, then maybe join us for the 46th Annual ride, this year starting in Harrisonburg, Virginia, July 13. Registration ends March 1. Cash bar.

Morven & Slavery: Stories of Enslaved People at Morven

Join us for an evening exploring the lives of the men, women, and children enslaved by the first two generations of the Stockton family at Morven. Historian Sharece Blakney will join in conversation with historian Dr. Linda Caldwell Epps as she shares stories uncovered through her research and offer historical context for the experiences of enslaved people in eighteenth and nineteenth century New Jersey.
