Children's Craft: Suet Bird Feeder (11:00–3:00)
While farmers use horses to skid saw logs out of the woods and haul firewood to the sap house in preparation for maple sugaring season, visitors can cut and chop firewood, and split locust logs into fence rails! Blacksmith Daniel Lapidow will also be working in the forge, shaping wrought iron into harness hooks, gate hinges, and other hardware needed on the farm.

The Princeton Recreation Department is offering free Platform Tennis Clinics designed for newcomers to the sport! Spots are limited and will fill up fast. The clinics are offered to Princeton residents; adults 18+ and youth ages 8-17. Below are the dates and times these clinics will be offered:
Location: Community Park
Platform Tennis Courts Adult Clinics: Wednesday, November 15: 2:00-2:45pm or 3:00-3:45pm and Saturday, November 18: 11:00-11:45am
IMPORTANT: The clinic is free, but you MUST register on our online portal: Register.communitypass.net/princeton and register under the "2023/2024 Platform Tennis" option from the drop-down menu. We provide paddles and balls for the clinic or you can bring your own paddle if you choose. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. SPACE IS LIMITED.

Join Animal Care Specialist Al Willick as she feeds our resident American eel and the other freshwater fish that reside in a large "stream tank" located in Discovery Hall of the Watershed Center. ?
During this 45-minute FREE program visitors will learn about the history, life cycles and special traits of these special critters, as well as some steps we can take to help preserve their habitats. This will be followed by Al feeding the eels and reading "Think of an Eel" by Karen Wallace in the reading nook. Ages 2 and up recommended. No registration is necessary for this program.
