In Person Shadow Day, Villa Victoria Academy

Be a Villa girl for the day! Middle school and high school in-person classes are offered to those girls wanting to learn more about our program. Visitors will spend the day with a Villa ambassador in the appropriate grade. Parents tours are also available that day. Spread the Joy Foundation's Annual Gala

Mark your calendars for the Spread the Joy Foundation's Annual Gala on October 6th, 2023. The Event for this Princeton-based Non-Profit will be at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson, with amazing views of the NYC Skyline & a Carnivale theme. This event helps boost the charity to their financial needs to support hospitals in our area, including the RWJ system, Capital Health system, Penn Medicine - Princeton, Children's Specialized Hospital, CHOP, and countless hospitals coast to coast, and international.

Spread the Joy is an organization that sends Joy boxes to children in hospitals around the country. The boxes are designed to entertain, educate, and of course -- spread JOY during a difficult time while receiving treatments for their illnesses.. This organization is 100% Volunteer Based with no paid employees. The Spread the Joy Foundation is a proud member of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. Please join us in support of PMFP's mission to provide food and other essentials to underserved members of the Princeton community. PMFP delivers fresh produce and proteins bi-weekly to over 260 homes in Princeton - reaching over 1000 neighbors. Dinner, beer, and wine will be served. Creepy Spider Hunt, The Watershed

Crab spiders, jumping spiders, wolf spiders, orb and funnel weavers and more! Join our annual night hunt with a nocturnal naturalist. Bring your flashlight or headlamp to use as we navigate the trails in search of many different types of spiders. Ages 5 and up. Adult attendance required. Discount available for members. Dress for the weather.

An Evening with David Sedaris, McCarter Theatre

Writer, humorist, and master of satire David Sedaris returns to McCarter for an evening of readings and recollections, Q&A, and book signing. One of the country’s preeminent humor writers, beloved for his personal essays and short stories, Sedaris writes in a style both autobiographical and self-deprecating, ruminating on family life, his middle-class, suburban upbringing, homosexuality, drug use, and obsessive behaviors. Several of his books have graced national bestseller lists, including Calypso, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim; his latest book Happy-Go-Lucky was published last May by Little, Brown and Company.

Carrie the Musical, Music Mountain Theater

Adapted from Stephen King's 1974 novel Carrie Set in the small New England town of Chamberlain, Maine, Carrie: The Musical features a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic film), music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment), and lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford (Fame, Footloose).

Carrie: The Musical follows a young woman with telekinetic powers. Carrie White is an outcast at school, where she is bullied viciously for her differences while longing to simply fit in.
