Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers’ Market

Hunterdon Land Trust opens a new Farmers’ Market season Sunday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington. The producers’-only market will run every Sunday through Nov. 19. Shoppers will find organic fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats, fresh-baked breads, cave-ripened cheeses, pies, plants, flowers, wine and more.

Most farmers accept credit cards. Parking is free and easily accessible.

Outdoor Yoga, Friends of Princeton Open Space

Join FOPOS for a donation-based outdoor yoga class on Sunday, Sept. 10th at 10am. During this one-hour yoga class, Alisha Fowler (RYT 200) will lead you through an all-levels ashtanga-inspired flow, pairing breath and movement. As we do yoga together, we will take in the beautiful setting of the outdoors by Mountain Lakes House. This class is donation-based and we kindly suggest a contribution of $10 or more. Doylestown Arts Festival

Designed to illuminate the region’s ongoing commitment to arts and culture, the Doylestown Arts Festival features 150+ juried artists, live music on 5 stages, live art and interactive demonstrations. The festival is free to attend. On Sunday, the Bucks County Classic joins in with high speed pro-bike races surrounding town. The Doylestown Arts Festival is organized by Discover Doylestown and made possible by The Thompson Organization.

Paneer Making, Cooking & Eating, Cherry Grove Farm

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make fresh homemade paneer by curdling milk; how to press your paneer and cut it into cubes; and then how to incorporate this paneer into an authentic North Indian dish called shahi paneer. As an extra bonus, Sandeep and Nalini Agarwal will show you how to make a delicious mango lassi. We will end by feasting together on shahi paneer, cumin rice, garlic naan and mango lassi. You will take home the paneer you have made and a hand-out on how to make paneer with more paneer recipes.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune Orchards

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series. Set in our wine orchard among 100 year old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the weekend. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, by the glass, in a tasting flight or a refreshing wine slush. Sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 2pm-5pm. Light fare available.

Bring the entire family to enjoy fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items, and stroll on the farm. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12pm-5pm. No outside food or pets please. No reservations needed for less than 8 people. Groups over 8 require reservation.

Join us for a free interactive workshop focused on managing fall yard cleanup in a sustainable way at your home. The afternoon will include a hybrid talk (in-person and virtual) with Morven Horticulturist and Master Gardener, Louise Senior, on how to use your piles of leaves to care for your yard and garden this fall, a Leaf Corral DIY Workshop with Sustainable Princeton, leaf-inspired crafts for the whole family, and a raffle to win an all electric leaf blower/vacuum. A virtual ticket is for the lecture only and does not include the DIY Leaf Corral Workshop or door prize raffle.
