Once a month, from May to October, South Warren and West Front Streets come alive with music, food and fun activities for the whole family. The June 2 First Fridays event will be hosted by Deekay and IMD with DJ Playnwudo. There will also be live music by artists Kozzie Kellz, Jax The Geenius and Gifted Goddess.

Other Desert Cities, Kelsey Theatre

Theatre-To-Go will present the dark comedy "Other Desert Cities" May 26 through June 4 at Kelsey Theatre on the campus of Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor.

"Other Desert Cities," which won a Tony Award nomination for Best New Play in 2011, takes place in Palm Springs, California during a holiday gathering. When a family member reveals she is going to publish a memoir about a painful chapter in the family's history, turmoil ensues and political views collide revealing a dysfunctional family situation that is full of surprise and touching moments. The New York Times hailed "Other Desert Cities" as the best new play on Broadway in 2011.

Billy Garan, Catch A Rising Star

He has produced, written and performed numerous radio commercials and has appeared on Showtime’s “Comedy Club Network”, “Caroline’s Comedy Hour”, and “Into The Night starring Rick Dees”. His acting career has taken off with appearances on ABC’s “Phenom”, & “America’s Funniest People”, NBC’s “Saved By The Bell”, & “California Dreams”, Showtime’s “Sherman Oaks”, and a 1994 ABC Pilot called “Worlds Apart”.

Pride Dance Party, ACP and PREX

The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) and the Princeton Record Exchange will host an all-ages Pride Dance Party on Friday, June 2 from 8:30-10pm. This is the second annual dance party that will be held in the ACP's parking lot, kicking off Princeton Pride Weekend. The space, adorned with a brand-new asphalt mural, will transform into an open-air dance party with tunes supplied by Princeton Record Exchange's own DJ ModCon2. Glow sticks and glitter tattoos provided while supplies last. This celebration of Princeton Pride is free and open to everyone and all ages.
