Hunterdon County Historical Society Book Sale

The Hunterdon County Historical Society will host a spring book sale on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Doric House Museum, 114 Main St., Flemington. The sale features a variety of histories and biographies, along with an eclectic collection of rare and unusual books and some popular favorites. You’ll find a treasure trove of books about townships and counties in New Jersey and various state histories. Also available are biographies, first editions, books on U.S. history including the American Revolution and the Civil War, first editions, and reproductions of historic maps and posters.

Cash or personal check only. All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit HCHS’s mission to preserve, protect and share Hunterdon County’s history.

Garden State African Violet Club's 69th Annual African Violet Show & Plant Sale

This year's show, themed "Violets Light Up Broadway," will feature America's favorite houseplants—African violets—in horticulture form and flower arrangements, displayed in the spirit of Broadway.
