Tree Planting Event in Honor of “EARTH DAY” 2023, WeLoveU Foundation

Mom's Garden Project – Tree Planting in Princeton, NJ!

The Intl. WeLoveU Foundation will be carrying out Mom's Garden Project, a tree planting campaign to plant 155,000 trees by the end of 2023 throughout the world including historical Princeton, NJ. WeLoveU will be joining forces with Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS) and SHI International for a total of 100 volunteers. Please join us!  The project will involve removing invasive plants, planting native species and protecting trees from deer browse and beaver chew.

Monthly Nuna Ayllu Women's Circle

The monthly Nuna Ayllu Women's Circle is held at The Sanctuary (215 N Main St, Pennington NJ) on a Sunday, from 11am to 1:30pm. The next dates are: February 19th, March 19th, April 23th and May 21st.

In this circle, women connect through their voice and their active listening, sharing wisdom and learning from each other. Women from different backgrounds and generations are welcome to join. Free Family Photo Shoot and Frame Craft Workshop, Trenton City Museum

Trenton City Museum invites area families to dress their children up in their finest for a free Family Photo Shoot and Frame Craft Workshop Sunday, April 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. Trenton City Museum is in historic Ellarslie Mansion, at the heart of Cadwalader Park.

This April offering, a part of the museum’s monthly family craft series, is made possible by the generosity of the Williamson family of Trenton. Participants will have their photo taken with a lovely spring-themed museum hall as the background. While photos are being printed by museum volunteers, families will make colorful Popsicle stick frames. Their creative keepsakes will hold lasting memories of a special day at the museum. Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune's

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series this Spring. Set in our wine orchard among 100-year-old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the new season. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 1 pm-4 pm. Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy the fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12 pm-5 pm. No reservations are needed. No outside food or pets, please. Groups maximum of 8.

Adath Israel’s 100th Anniversary Celebration Concert with Six 13 A Cappella

The Six 13 a Cappella singers will perform at Adath Israel Congregation of Lawrenceville, NJ, in celebration of the congregation’s 100th Anniversary. Six 13 is a groundbreaking, critically acclaimed six-man a cappella vocal band. The group brings an unprecedented style and energy to Jewish music, while performing all types of music, Six 13 is known for parodying contemporary pop songs by adding Jewish themes and lyrics. The concert will take place on Sunday, April 23 at 2:00pm.

Campus Collections Outdoor Walking Tours, Princeton University Art Museum

Building Princeton (with LEGO), Historical Society of Princeton

Visualize the town and campus as you've never seen them before! Working from photographs, teams recreate iconic Princeton structures out of LEGO building blocks. Choose among more than 50 historic structures, famous residences, community buildings, and houses of worship to construct a scale model. When complete, models are placed on a 30-foot map of Princeton, providing an amazing aerial view.

Fun for all ages, Building Princeton is designed to increase awareness of the town’s rich architectural heritage. Teams can include up to 4 people, with at least one adult per group. Led by architect Stephen W. Schwartz from Building Blocks Workshops, LLC, this event is featured in other cities, including Montclair, Morristown, and Summit.
