Princeton Battlefield Society Spring Clean Up Day, Princeton Battlefield State Park

Join the Princeton Battlefield Society for Spring Clean Up Day at the Princeton Battlefield State Park. A great way to welcome Spring, to enjoy the outdoors, and to work with other friends of the Princeton Battlefield. You're also invited to a pizza party at 2 pm and a tour of the historic Thomas Clarke House. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER Garden tools and gloves will be provided. (You're welcome to bring your own.) Appel Farm Arts Camp will ignite your creativity, kindness and confidence this summer! Check out our gender inclusive, overnight arts camp for ages 7-17. Program areas include music, theatre performance, theatre tech, dance, visual arts, photography, video, creative writing, sports and swim, and green corps. Campers are welcomed into a supportive, diverse community where friendship and acceptance are valued. Make the best friends of your life, develop your artistic talents, and experience independence, inspiration, and loads of fun. Explore arts and learning in a safe environment of community, personal growth, and fun! We do camp differently.

Community Workshop with Onome Oluto, Artist-in-Residence, Arts Council of Princeton

Onome has created individual 8×10" pre-printed panels of Princeton-area historical landmarks. Participants of this drop-in style workshop will embellish the panels with their own ‘history’ to become a part of Princeton past. Each individual work will be assembled into one large community ‘postcard’, to be displayed in August 2023 during the annual Witherspoon-Jackson Neighborhood Joint Effort/Safe Streets event. Free.

Earth Day Swap-O-Rama, Arts Council of Princeton

Swap clothing and materials with fellow attendees as you know what they say: "one's trash is another's treasure". Select some of your clothes that are in good shape, but just don't bring you that much joy anymore. Bag them up and head over to the Arts Council to turn that blazer into a tunic and those bellbottoms into a fun new skirt for the spring. Tickets are $18 and include a sewing tutorial.

Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune's

Join family and friends for our winery weekend music series this Spring. Set in our wine orchard among 100-year-old apple trees, it is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the new season. Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music is from 1 pm-4 pm. Light fare available. Bring the entire family to enjoy the fresh air on the farm, stop in the farm store for fresh produce, baked goods and local gourmet items. Barn Door Cafe is open on weekends for lunch fare, homemade treats and ice cream. Winery hours 12 pm-5 pm. No reservations are needed. No outside food or pets, please. Groups maximum of 8.

The Ugly Duckling, Kelsey Theatre

We all know the fable of the swan who grows up “ugly” in a family of ducks, later to find his appearance changing as he discovers his true identity. Follow along as our “duck” finds friendship with other unlikely misfits: a mole that hates dirt and the bald eagle with a full head of hair. These three “misfit” heroes work together to earn their home on the King’s estate and find the self-confidence that only friendship and accomplishment can provide. Please join us for this all-singing, all-dancing, all-delightful new musical.

Come to Bourbon Street (right here in Princeton) for this fun-filled evening, and McCarter’s biggest fundraising event of the year.
