17th Annual Watershed Stream Cleanups

Register now and volunteer for the 17th Annual Watershed Stream Cleanups on April 15th and 22nd and help clean up a stream in your neighborhood!

The Watershed's Stream Cleanups are a volunteer opportunity for youth and adults that help make our watersheds healthier, protect our environment and beautify our communities. Over the years, thousands of volunteers have removed over 71 tons (141,000 pounds) of trash from our streams. There are 15 cleanups on the schedule located throughout Central New Jersey. Sing with Friends, Westrick Music Academy

Join the Princeton Girlchoir and Princeton Boychoir and all our talented musical directors in a day of song, friends, games, and celebration — ending in a concert! This free event is open to all children who love singing and are in grades 2 through 6. Bring any friends you'd like! The more, the merrier! Kingston Greenways Association Earth Day Cleanup Sessions

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Celebrate Earth Day with us by tidying up our shared roadsides, neighborhoods, and public lands!

Morning session: 9 to 11 AM: Cleanup of Laurel Avenue and vicinity of Rockingham Historic Site, from just above the village of Kingston up to Route 518. Meet at the Rockingham parking lot, 84 Laurel Avenue.

Afternoon session: 2 to 4 PM: Trash collection in the Mapleton Preserve, Cook Natural Area, and in areas adjacent to Mapleton Road, Division Street, Heathcote Road, Ridge Road, Greenwood Avenue, and Railroad Avenue. Parking for the event is along Railroad Avenue off Ridge Road.

KGA provides grabbers, gloves, orange vests, and garbage bags. Wear sturdy boots and clothing!

Spring Open House, French American School of Princeton

Native Plant Sale, D&R Greenway

D&R Greenway announces over fifty species of healthy local plants are ready for purchase at their annual Native Plant Sale sales taking place on Thursday, April 20, 12:00 – 4:00 pm; Friday, April 21, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm; and EARTH DAY: Saturday, April 22, 9:00 am – 11:30 pm.

Planting natives enhances home gardens in natural beauty, attracts butterflies and birds in the landscape, and contributes to protection of a healthy bioregion. The Nursery is on the grounds of D&R Greenway's Conservation Campus at the Johnson Education Center, One Preservation Place, [off Rosedale Road] Princeton, NJ 08540. Native Plant Sale proceeds support D&R Greenway's preservation and stewardship mission.

Storytime with Jeff, Arts Council of Princeton

Every Saturday at 10am, enjoy a morning of story and song with Jeff Trainor of JaZams! Storytime with Jeff is a half-hour event that welcomes families to sing, dance, read, and enjoy some free fun. Jeff is an accomplished musician and actor with a growing fanbase among the Princeton toddler community (and their parents as well!) This interactive event features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids ages 0-8, accompanied by an adult family member or guardian. No registration required. Free and open to all.

2nd Annual Silent Film Celebration, AMC MarketFair

Tickets are now on sale for our second annual Silent Film Celebration! Students will perform live piano music to accompany classic, humorous, silent films starring luminaries like Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. Trail Jam, Artworks & Trenton Cycling Revolution

??Join us for a fun public art event on Trenton's amazing bike and pedestrian thoroughfare! The Artworks/Trenton Cycling Revolution Trail Jam is a rolling art party directly on the D&R Canal trail!
